Gentle staff, marvellous views of the castle, everything is modern. The location is wonderful and beautiful, it is near a castle and a cathedral. Furthermore, Chapelle Royale des Ardilliers is within easy walking distance of the hotel.

All in all everything was great, had a fab stay for my 70th birthday celebration. Had a small refrigerator, a safe box, and a coffee machine in my great and cosy room.

Everything was modern, extremely friendly staff, wonderful views of the castle. The location couldn't be more perfect in front of a Church. Plus, it was close enough to Saumur and much of the Loire valley, the centre of Old Town, Saumur, and shops and restaurants. Loved this real good stay on a two week vacation.

The classic double room was beautifully presented and extremely pleasant with high beamed ceiling. The breakfast was varied and mostly with organic ingredients; the staff was attentive. The service was very good, that made the hotel well-maintained place.

We spent 3 days in Saumur at the St. Pierre. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the owner/manager was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we had during our entire travels in France (3 weeks.) The location is very good for walking to restaurants and shopping. Saumur is a great location for local attractions, as well as being close to Chinon, Langeais, and Angers. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to France.
